Contacting Us
The fastest way to reach us is by phone: 16573667150. Call during the day and you'll talk to someone who can ask what the door is doing, whether it's a spring, a cable, an opener that won't respond, or a track that's bent, and get a sense of what parts might be needed before a truck ever leaves.
Our shop sits at 16360 Pacific Coast Hwy, Huntington Beach, CA 92649. That's the address for mail and for anyone who wants to stop in rather than call. We're not a call center routing you somewhere else - this is the number and the address, full stop.
One limitation worth saying up front: we work on garage doors and openers, not gates, not fencing, and not general handyman jobs. If a job needs a part that's on backorder from the manufacturer, we'll tell you that at the estimate stage rather than let it surprise you on repair day. We'd rather give you a real timeline than a fast one that isn't true.
The area
What Comes Next
When you call, we ask a few questions about the door: age, symptoms, whether it's a single or double, and whether anyone's tried to force it open or closed. That tells us whether it's a same-day fix - a broken torsion spring, a snapped cable, a roller off its track - or something that needs a look before we can quote a number.
We give you a window, not a guess, and we call ahead before the truck shows up. On site, the tech explains what's actually wrong, what it costs to fix, and what your options are if the door is old enough that a repair is just delaying a bigger job. Given that a lot of the housing stock around here dates to the 1950s through the 1990s, with a lot of it from the 1960s and '70s, replacement parts for the original hardware aren't always sitting on a shelf, and we'll say so rather than promise a same-day fix that isn't realistic.
You get a written estimate before any work starts. No work happens without your sign-off.
What we find
Where We Travel
We're based at 16360 Pacific Coast Hwy, close enough to Oak View, about a mile northeast, and Sunset Beach, about four miles west-northwest, that both are easy same-morning stops. From there our trucks run out to Midway City (3 miles), Westminster (4 miles), Seal Beach (6 miles), Stanton (7 miles), Los Alamitos and Rossmoor (both 8 miles), Cypress (9 miles), and Hawaiian Gardens (10 miles).
Farther out we still cover La Palma, Buena Park, and Signal Hill around 11-12 miles, plus Lakewood, Cerritos, Artesia, and North Tustin near the 12-13 mile mark. At the edge of our range sit Villa Park, Bellflower, Norwalk, Placentia, East Whittier, La Habra, South Whittier, Paramount, Laguna Woods, Carson, Laguna Beach, Brea, Aliso Viejo, La Habra Heights, and Compton, running from about 15 to 19 miles.
The mild, temperate climate through this whole stretch means we don't see the freeze-cracked springs or heat-warped panels that garages in harsher climates deal with - most of what we fix is wear, age, and hardware that was never rated for the door weight it's carrying now.
Questions
Common questions
Do you come out the same day I call?
Often, yes, especially for a broken spring or a door stuck shut, which are the most common calls. We'll tell you honestly on the phone if the day is booked up or if your job needs a part we'd have to order first.
How far from Huntington Beach do you go?
We regularly work from Oak View and Sunset Beach right near our shop out to places like Cypress, Lakewood, and Cerritos, and we'll still take calls farther out toward Brea or Laguna Beach - just ask when you call.
Do I need to be home for an estimate?
Yes, someone needs to be there to let the tech see the door and sign off on the written estimate before any work starts. We don't do work without that approval in hand.
What if my door is too old to fix?
Given how much of the housing here dates to the 1950s through 1990s, we run into original hardware fairly often. If parts aren't available or the repair costs more than it's worth, we'll say so and lay out replacement options instead of forcing a patch job.
